He is a lawyer from the University of Antioquia, with a specialization in Marketing and Business Administration from the Universidad del Rosario.
He has 36 years of experience in the retail sector, developing his career in Grupo Éxito and its different brands. He started at Super Ley, then joined Éxito as Store Manager and later assumed the role of District Chief in Bogotá. Later, he held leadership positions in Pomona and Carulla, where he was National Operations Manager. Subsequently, he served as Director of the Éxito brand, leading operations at the national level. Currently, he is Retail Manager Zone 2.
Throughout his career, he has worked with practically all the brands of Grupo Éxito, including Ley, Pomona, Vivero, Carulla, Cafam, Surtimax and Surtimayorista.
In accordance with Decree 830 of 2021, he does not hold the status of politically exposed person ("PEP").
