He is a Business Administrator from EAFIT University, with a specialization in Political Studies from the same institution and a master's degree in Administration and Planning from University College London (UCL). He joined Grupo Éxito in 2018, starting his career in the Sustainability area, where he was for five years. Subsequently, he served as Manager of the Éxito brand and, currently, is the Retail Manager.

In accordance with Decree 830 of 2021, he does not hold the status of Politically Exposed Person ("PEP").
